Day 40 report pt3

...and not much by way of road signs...or anyone else at all. I passed a couple of ranches and then some horse riders..whats this on the map? The bull ring by the sea...on the mexican side (of course). Ok thats when Ill know Im there..when I see the bullring...and all of a sudden, round a corner and there it was up on the hill. Nearly there! But I wanted to see the last beach in the US and get some piccys. Im going on...whats this!? A massive waterlogged part of the road! BAH! No Im not letting this stop me. This bike is designed to take a bit of offroad. lets go...Its fine...oh no its not! I have to get off as its too muddy to get through with my slick tyres. So Ill walk (wet feet). I finally get off the side of the road and push it through the undergrowth because my feet are clinging in the mud! the side is not much easier- a bit like heather and very clingy on the bike.

But Im a persistent son of a gun and I made it through! Fine for now but I Knew I had to get back too...tbc
