Day 33 report pt3

...I was able to head into town in time to catch the vibe and sunset. Pismo Beach is really all about the beach. No surprises but it is one mucho grande playa and very sandy too. Loads of surfing which seems to go on past dusk. People going after work? Change of wind giving better waves? I soon got very hungry though as i hadnt been very clever at snacking today. It was only 5:30 so i thought maybe a wee wrap to tide me over. I found a great place called Hoagies and ordered the chinese chicken wrap but my mini snackette was now a monster meal. Two massive wraps and fries. Oh well. cuando estes en Roma! I was very hungry and it was very good so I polished it off no problem. While doing so i noticed there was a bell at the counter in front of the chef's area. A notice said that if you like your meal ring the bell to say thanks to the chefs. I couldnt resist-my meal was great but also for the banter. The chefs loved it. Big smiles and thanks all around. I left with a spring in my step!
